Kenya is a developing nation. It has a frail economy and jobs are scarce. Although primary education is free in Kenya since the year 2003 many parents could still not afford paying secondary, college or university fee. Parents (for those lucky to have them) sell the little they own each school term until they have no more to sell. Then there ends a child’s only hope out of poverty. With such a background in mind, Makodeny has the following ongoing projects:
To empower youth from poor families in Kadibo Division, Kisumu County, through education so that they can grow in a self-reliant individuals.
